Disability Representation in Books, Anne of Green Gables, and Bookish Would You Rathers
In today’s episode, Kenzie, Mollie’s IRL friend, avid reader, and Special Education Teacher joins us to talk about disability representation in books. We discuss great books where the main characters have a disability, some not so great books, and we talk about the need for more; more disabilities represented across genres, and done well. Kenzie is also a fellow Anne of Green Gables fan, so we gush about our favorite carrot top and try not to leave Mollie behind (who while recording this episode was only four pages into the book).
